PÍNTAG AMARU PRIMERA CRIPTO COMUNIDAD EN ECUADOR

 I n the third week of July 2021, we officially converted the community fund to Bitcoin. At that time the price of Bitcoin was around 32,000 USD. By that time the community had already started the construction of the Amaru House. It was a very special house because it was a community dream come true. It was financed with savings from the community and the help of an American benefactor. Casa Amaru is built with ecological and recyclable materials.  And what does Bitcoin have to do with this? Everything, since this space provided the facilities for us to learn and talk about the world of Blockchain and Bitcoin. We got with good luck, broadband internet for the community and we started with bitcoin wallet openings and lighting to the members of the community. As software we used the Bitcoin Beach Wallet application, since it has an inclusive language that made it easier to adopt for people in the community.   E n la tercera semana de julio del 2021, oficialmente convertimos el fondo comunitario a Bitcoin. En ese momento el precio de Bitcoin era alrededor de 32 000 USD. Por esas fechas la comunidad ya había iniciado la construcción de la Casa Amaru. Casa muy especial por ser un anhelo comunitario cumplido. Todo, ya que este espacio brindó las facilidades para que podamos aprender y conversar sobre el mundo de Blockchain y Bitcoin. Conseguimos con muy buena suerte, internet de banda ancha para la comunidad y arrancamos con aperturas de billeteras de bitcoin y lighting a los miembros de la comunidad. D ebo contarte algo, Píntag Amaru es una comunidad que vive en los Andes, a 3000 metros sobre el nivel del mar, es una comunidad campesina y agrícola que defiende la naturaleza, es una comunidad organizada de 40 familias de hombres y mujeres que trabajan en el campo y en otros casos migran a ciudades grandes para buscar un mejor futuro. Esta organización permitió realizar un ahorro en dólares de toda la comunidad, fondos que tenían en el banco ganando una tasa del 5% anual en el mejor de los casos. En mi país si tú pides prestado a un banco en una economía dolarizada las tasas de interés van del 16 al 22% anual. La diferencia es brutal, ¿acaso el dinero que dejamos en los bancos vale menos que el dinero que te prestan los banqueros? Tomando en cuenta lo anterior les propuse que migremos el ahorro de la comunidad a Bitcoin y creamos la primera billetera bitcoin comunitaria en un on chain. We are a movement that proposes to preserve all varieties of seeds in order to maintain native forests, food and ancestral knowledge for land management, housing construction and protection of the natural environment. Píntag Amaru is a non-profit community movement that aims to make society aware of the importance of implementing good food practices in daily life, recovering the knowledge of grandfathers and grandmothers that are being erased by modernity and putting it into practice to form an intimate relationship between the runa and all the forces of nature. Its fundamental basis is that children, adolescents, young people and adults understand the importance of protecting the place where they live, their people and their roots. This collective works in the Parish of Píntag,
